How We Work at Orgain Family Vision Care

Office Hours

Regular office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday. To schedule an appointment, call us anytime during regular office hours.

To Schedule an Appointment

If you call after hours, our answering service will take a message and relay it to us during the next business day. If you"re unable to make your scheduled appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. If you or a member of your family has an emergency situation such as an eye injury, infection, or contact lens problem, please call the office and we"ll make every effort to see you as soon as possible.

Referrals

Many local health care providers refer patients to us. Our staff has experience with vision problems caused by head trauma or stroke, with low vision (due to birth, trauma or disease) and with children who have learning and visual problems. In addition, many patients are referred to us by other eye care professionals for special contact lens fittings.

Referrals are an important part of any active, growing practice. Our greatest referral source is current patients whose vision needs have been fulfilled in a professional, caring manner. Please tell your family and friends about us!

Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We"ll take the time to discuss all fees with you before we order glasses or contacts. We accept cash, personal checks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. Orgain Family Vision Care is a participating provider in Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, United Health Care, Cigna, Vision Service Plan, Cigna, Humana, Aetna, Block, Tricare and Medicare, and it"s our pleasure to assist you with your insurance claims. We"ll even complete your Medicare and secondary insurance forms for you. Since we're not a provider for all insurance plans, we"ll be happy to supply the information you need to secure payment from your insurance company. We can serve you even better if you bring a copy of your company's vision plan to our office, along with information about any changes in deductibles, co-payments or coverage levels. In some cases, your visit may be covered under your provider's medical plan if your vision problem is medical in nature (such as an eye infection) or is the result of a medical diagnosis such as high blood pressure or diabetes. In every case, we'll help you file your claim with the appropriate insurance plan. All co-payments, deductibles and payments for non-covered procedures are due at time of service.
